Blood Trail: Deer Recovery Cam ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). The short version: the App collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no account.
1. Camera
The App uses the camera to highlight blood in the live view. Frames are processed on your iPhone as they arrive and discarded. The only pictures kept are the snapshots saved when you tap Mark, and they stay in the App on your iPhone.
2. Location and compass
With your permission ("While Using the App"), the App reads your position and compass heading to pin each find and to point you back to last blood. Positions are stored only with your trails, on your iPhone. The App never tracks you in the background.
3. Data stored on your device
- Trails: start time, the hit-site position and the outcome you chose.
- Marks: the type (first blood, drop, pool, last blood, recovered), time, position, GPS accuracy, compass heading, your note and the snapshot.
- Preferences: highlight colour, sensitivity, units, haptics, theme, today's free scanning minutes, and whether Pro is active.
None of it is uploaded to us or anyone else. Deleting a trail deletes its marks and snapshots; deleting the App deletes everything.
4. Photos
If you use "Check a photo", you pick an image with the iOS photo picker; the App sees only the photo you chose and checks it on your iPhone. The App never reads your library on its own.
5. No analytics, no trackers, no network
The App contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters or third-party trackers, shows no ads, and makes no network requests of its own. The satellite map view loads map tiles from Apple Maps when you open it. We operate no servers that hold user data and never receive any personal data.
6. Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple tells the App whether Pro is active; we never see your payment details or Apple ID.
7. Exports
GPX files and images leave your iPhone only when you share them through the iOS share sheet, to a destination you pick.
8. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
